I'm a part-time photographer.
Far from the most experienced in town. Costly as my equipment has been, I certainly don't own the most expensive gear. As a second job, I can't be photographing or editing at any time on any given day. And if you were to compare me side-by-side with other full-time professionals who have invested the ten thousand hours into their craft and the tens of thousands of dollars into their business — there will be real differences. I'll be honest with you about recognizing them.
And yet, I might be exactly the right photographer for you.
I'd bet that those pros are great. I imagine their prices reflect their artistry. Sadly, their worth was always out of reach for my family's comfort - and maybe you're feeling the same.
